1, exposure 1) the choice of light source

The photo-sensitive range of the positive PS version is in the blue and near-ultraviolet regions (320-450 nm), and the most sensitive region is 375 nm. Metal halide light sources are most suitable for exposure.

2) Check the platen vacuum.

Check the platen vacuum performance before the plate is exposed. During the operation, clean the glass of the plate, remove the publication under yellow light or dim light, and avoid contamination, bending, and scratches as much as possible during printing. Put the plate on the printing frame, stack a 60-line/cm gray contact screen on the top, start the vacuum system, and check the uniformity of the suction in the entire plate.

3) Determine the height of the printing plate light source

The intensity of light at the edge of the printing plate should be controlled to be equal to about 90% of the light intensity at the center of the plate. The height of the light source should be at least equal to the length of the diagonal of the plate so that the plate can receive light evenly.

4) Test method for plate exposure

The direct method uses a UV illuminometer to directly detect the exposure of the plate.

Indirect method First use the signal strip to test the resolution of the plate, and then find the exposure.

2, development

Manually developed and mechanically developed. The use of standardized development methods will reduce many of the drawbacks that affect performance during the development process. It is recommended to use Huaguang brand developer, the dilution ratio is 1:6-1:8, the development temperature is 23°C plus or minus 2°C, and the development time is 30s-60s.

3, revision

Commonly used cleaning fluids such as Fuji P-L type, Huaguang PW type, Lide LD type and so on. In order to eliminate excess images and spots on the plate after washing with developing water, apply a small amount of cleaning agent to the area to be removed, leave it for about 20-60 seconds, wipe it off with a damp cloth, and then wash it.

4, baking version

Baking plate can improve the binding force of coating chemicals and aluminum plate base to improve the resistance to printing. The baking solution was poured onto a plate that had been washed with developing water, and was evenly wiped with a rubber scraper and wiped with a sponge. Then baking in the baking Machine for 5-7 minutes, the temperature is controlled at 220-230°C. After cooling, put it in developer for 1 minute and then wash it.

5, on the protective plastic

The purpose of the protective coating is to improve the water absorption properties of the non-affected zone. After washing with developing water, use a sponge to dip the protective glue, rub it evenly and thinly on the plate surface, then blow dry or dry it and keep it away from the light for printing.
