No ink printing technology

Pandigital, a maker of portable printers and digital photo frames, saw the business opportunities, and cooperated with Zink Graphics to launch the world’s first 4×6 inch inkless photo printer at CES 2010.

The mystery of non-ink printing technology lies in the paper used. When the heated print head comes into contact with special paper, the crystals containing the yellow, magenta and cyan dyes in the dedicated paper will be heated to change the color and thus be displayed on the paper. Different colors.

Since the ink cartridges and ribbons are no longer used, the Zink printer is very compact and easy to operate. The entire machine only needs heating elements to print out pictures. The print is beautiful, durable and not faded.

Easy to use

The Pandigital portable inkless photo printer prints faster than the Polaroid PoGo and prints 4 x 6 inches. Without connecting to a computer, users can print photos directly from the camera or mobile phone. In addition, the printer is equipped with an LCD display and a memory card reader.
