Inaccurate printing and overprinting and solutions
In the printing process, the printed matter is prone to inaccurate overprinting. Overprinting is the basis for achieving color reproduction, and it is also the key to ensuring the quality of the printing. When evaluating the quality of printing, the accuracy of overprinting is equal to the color standard. The inaccurate images are in a fuzzy state and can be judged directly by the printed sheet. From the point of view of the printing press, there is a strict transfer relationship between the paper in the process of paper conveyance, regulatory parts, paper gripper, paper transfer roller and paper delivery row. Now focus on explaining the fault of overprint inaccuracy from the perspective of process. The overprint inaccuracy can be directly judged by the printed sheet. This type of inaccurate overprinting can be divided into three categories: 1. The post-printed image position is equidistant to one side. This failure is caused by the non-corresponding relationship between the printing plate image and the paper position. 2. The uneven position of the post-printed image. It may be caused by the crosshair registration on one side and the registration error on the other side. This type of overprinting is caused by the inconsistency between the existing image size on the paper and the newly printed image size. 3. Partial image overprint is not allowed. This situation only occurs on a small area somewhere on the printed sheet. This type of fault is often accompanied by wrinkles in the paper.
There are also three types of reasons for the inaccurate overprinting, that is, improper adjustment of the printing press, expansion and contraction of the paper, and improper roller lining. It also requires us to have corresponding solutions: 1. Operate the printing equipment according to the technical instructions; 2. Set up a special printing paper library, the printing paper is best to use the current cut; 3. Replace printing consumables strictly according to the technical data (including Lining, plate film, PS plate and blanket, etc.).
