At that time, most of them were hot stamped hardcover cases, book covers, covers, envelopes, letterheads, greeting cards, etc., and hot box printing was not popular. The second reason is that due to the fact that hot stamping is not popular, it was not promoted until the early 1980s when local companies introduced large-scale hot stamping machines in Japan, such as escaping machines. After the promotion, the printing merchants can see the hot stamping full sheet, the nesting is accurate, and the goods are fast, so they have the ability to receive the hot stamping of large area orders; and even more fully introduce the Heidelberg hot stamping machine to make the hot stamping industry more flourishing. Until now, the demand for bronzing of printing and packaging has increased.

Paper gilding machinery can be roughly divided into:

First, manual small hot stamping machine, only small size paper can be hot stamping.

Second, flat pressing hot stamping machine, this model has a variety of sizes, from small to hot size of the size of the folio paper, with a computer program to pull the gold foil, the speed is slow, the process is mostly manual operation.

Third, manual-type beer box-type hot stamping machine, this type of machine is similar to manual beer box machine, the size can be hot stamped to 28 inch × 40 inch paper, the process is also mostly manual operation, the speed is relatively slow, rarely used in Hong Kong.

Fourth, Heidelberg automatic rolling gilding machine, Heidelberg letterpress printing machine can be said to be the oldest top machine. This hot stamping machine was actually refitted from a letterpress machine. Now that letterpress printing has been replaced by offset printing, the machine factory has used its brains to convert it into a fully automatic hot stamping machine. This is mainly to convert part of the dial into heat. The board and the place where the bronzing plate is installed, and a gold-recovery paper component is installed. This machine has a good effect on hot lines and large fields.

Fifth, flat automatic hot stamping machine, similar to automatic beer box machine, the price is more expensive, not many users, but the speed is the fastest models, hot stamping area is also larger.
