Smarties candy packaging

The Nestlé company in the confectionery industry has recently developed a hexagonal cardboard package with Chesapeake. The closure can be repeated. The package is used in Nestlé Smarties brand candy products. Since its inception in 1937, the Smarties product has been packaged in cylindrical cardboard + plastic lids.

Field First and Field Rotopack are Chesapeake's two affiliates and currently start manufacturing Smarties packaged cardboard in the UK and Germany. The two branches and Nestlé staff worked closely together to develop a new structure of caps for this package and to ensure that the newly designed packages run stably on Nestlé's packaging equipment. The package uses coated folded cardboard, the outer surface of the six-color printing, and an additional layer of protective coating.

This summer, new packaging was first introduced in countries such as the United Kingdom. Smarties is sold in more than 100 countries worldwide. In the UK, nearly 17,000 packs of Smarties can be consumed per minute.
