HP: original supplies are reliable

The world’s largest printing equipment supplier Hewlett-Packard held an original supplies promotion meeting in Guangzhou recently, quoting a third-party testing organization that said the probability of non-genuine toner cartridge adhesion is 7 times that of the original HP cartridge.

Hewlett-Packard pointed out that, according to third-party testing agencies for original supplies and compatible supplies comparison test results show that the original cartridge in the reliability, print quality, optical density and toner adhesion and other aspects is significantly better than compatible cartridges. According to a comparison survey conducted by the print service provider Quality Logic on HP's original cartridges and non-genuine cartridges, HP original cartridges did not cause any failure, and the failure rate of the original cartridges was 68.3%.

Hewlett-Packard revealed that its annual R&D investment in printing and imaging systems exceeds US$1 billion. Currently, 1.3 billion cartridges and 210 million HP cartridges have been recovered in more than 50 countries and regions.
