Analysis of Problems in Using Paper Cutter Blades

1. The sharply-trimmed blade is put into use, but it does not touch hard foreign objects in the cutting but it suddenly collapses. Analysis: The main cause of this problem is the inaccurate infeed of the cutting edge during the grinding process (increase in the feed rate), resulting in excessive temperature during the grinding process (ie, the temperature of the contact point between the blade and the grinding wheel is too high). The blade will be "burned".

2. The knife does not cut in the end when cutting (also known as impervious to eating). Analysis: This is mainly due to the sharpness of the edge of the knife.

3. Just after the blade has been sharpened, the paper cut surface of the cut paper has cuts and defects in the cutting process. The more reason is that the blade is too soft due to overheating. The quality of the knife's grinding is critical to the quality of the cut.
