In 1944, Reima was born in Finland in World War II. At that time, many skilled garment workers moved from Helsinki, the capital, decided to stay in Kankaanp and build a new clothing brand to meet the post-war demand for functional clothing. Nitrile rubber (NBR, Buna-N) grommet provides excellent resistance to petroleum oils as well as mineral and vegetable oil. Nitrile rubber also offers strong resistance to heat aging - often a key advantage over natural rubber.
