In order to ensure the safety and accurate measurement when adding liquid chlorine, safety chlorination equipment is generally used, and the commonly used chlorine injection equipment is a rotor chlorination machine.

The chlorine gas from the chlorine bottle first enters the cyclone separator, enters the rotameter and the relay glass cover through the spring diaphragm valve and the control valve, is mixed with the pressurized water through the ejector, and is dissolved in the water and sent to the chlorine injection point. The functions of each part are as follows:

1. Cyclone separator: It can be used to separate suspended impurities such as rust and oil in chlorine gas. It can be opened by periodically opening the lower cock of the separator.

2. Spring diaphragm valve: When the pressure in the chlorine bottle is less than 0.1MPA, the valve will automatically close to ensure that the chlorine in the bottle has a certain residual pressure.

3. Chlorine gas control valve and rotor flow meter: used to control and measure the amount of chlorine.

4. Transfer glass cover: used to observe the working condition of the gas injection machine, in addition to the following effects.

First, stable chlorine injection. When the amount of chlorine in the glass cover is less than the amount of suction of the ejector, the water in the tank under the negative pressure state enters the hood to supplement the suction of the ejector.

Second, prevent big talks and water backwards. A check valve in the glass cover is used to prevent the pressure water from the ejector from pouring in.

Third, when the water source is interrupted, the water in the balance tank is continuously sucked up by the negative pressure in the cover. When the water level in the balance tank is lower than the one-way valve port, the vacuum in the air destruction cover is automatically taken in.

5. Balance water tank: It can supplement and stabilize the water volume in the relay glass cover. When the water flow is interrupted, the transfer glass cover is destroyed by a vacuum.

6. Water ejector: In addition to the chlorine required for pumping in the relay glass cover, and mixing it with water and dissolving it outside the water, it also maintains the negative pressure inside the relay glass cover.

Chlorine will appear in the operation tank of the submersible mixer. The operator should be separated from the chlorination room in the duty room, and a monitoring and alarm device should be installed in the chlorination room to check the chlorine concentration at any time.

The chlorination room of the submersible mixer should be close to the chlorination point. The distance between the two should not exceed 30m. The chlorination building should be strong fireproof, freeze-resistant, well ventilated, open outside the gate, and strictly separated from other working rooms without any direct connection. Since chlorine is denser than air, when chlorine leaks indoors, it will vent the air out and accumulate in the closed room and gradually spread upwards. Therefore, the bottom of the chlorination room must be equipped with forced exhaust facilities. Set at a height.

The electronic control room of the chlorination room should be set separately, and the spare maintenance tools, explosion-proof lamps, gas masks and rescue devices should be set up. The switches for lighting and ventilation equipment are also located here, and ventilation should be carried out before entering the chlorination room. The pressure water pipe leading to the chlorination room must ensure uninterrupted water supply and keep the water pressure stable, as well as measures to deal with sudden water cuts. When the chlorine bottle is found to have a serious leak, load the gas mask, open the sprinkler, and then close the chlorine bottle valve.

When you find someone with acute chlorine poisoning at the scene, try to quickly transfer the poisoned person to a place where the air is fresh and ventilated. If you have difficulty breathing, you should let it absorb chlorine. It is strictly forbidden to use artificial respiration. You can use 2% sodium bicarbonate solution for eye wash. The nose, mouth and other parts can also be inhaled into the atomized 5% sodium bicarbonate solution. And inform the medical ambulance center to come to the aid.
