How should the basic quality soft package enterprises of printed materials control?

There are numerous types of films available in the market, but the most commonly used ones for printing are BOPP, BOPA, PET, and LDPE. When it comes to printing, the surface treatment of the film is crucial. It's essential to check whether the nylon film is properly wetted and to measure the surface tension of each film roll before starting the printing process. The corona treatment has a limited shelf life. If left too long, the treatment may degrade, making it unsuitable for printing. This can also prevent issues caused by accidentally using the wrong side of the film. Additionally, after prolonged use, the corona pen may give inaccurate readings due to the evaporation of the test liquid. To ensure accuracy, it's best to use Dyne test liquids that are prepared according to standard guidelines, ensuring reliable and timely results. One of the key materials to watch out for is PE film. Some PE films undergo corona treatment during the blowing process. However, if the film is too thick or uneven, the corona effect might not be sufficient. Also, an excessive amount of slip agent or release material added during manufacturing can significantly reduce the corona effect. For 12μm PET films, if the corona effect is similar on both sides, it’s important to distinguish them, as failure to do so could lead to back-side sticking issues in printed rolls. General corona treatment requirements for printed films are as follows: BOPP and PE should have at least 38 dynes, PET should be above 50 dynes, and BOPA should reach 52 dynes. Nylon films are particularly sensitive to moisture, which can affect ink adhesion and composite strength. This often leads to problems such as poor ink transfer, reduced adhesion, wrinkling, uneven surfaces, and visible lines during printing. When purchasing films, it's important to clearly communicate your specific usage requirements to the supplier. For example, some films like BOFIA come in different grades, such as printing grade and composite grade. With the increasing variety of films available today, even if the basic name (like PET, BOPA, or BOPP) sounds similar, there may be multiple grades from the supplier, and not all of them will be suitable for your application. Always confirm the exact specifications to avoid potential issues during the printing process.
