To modify the American Girl doll, you first have to print the prosthesis in 3D, you can choose to use your own desktop 3D printer or through the outside 3D printing service. These 3D printed prostheses are designed to match the original joint interface of the American Girl, so it is relatively easy to install. To install a 3D printed prosthesis, you must first remove the doll's head by untangling the rope around your neck. Then, if necessary, you can remove some filler.
