Celplast metallized Products (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) used Peter Rigney Product on its metallized Cellofoile LDPE bag for use on Canada's Canada Bread on Dempster`sw white bread. Leco Industries, headquartered in Quebec, provided the film, which was then processed by Toronto's Allied Halo Industries. The surface printing pattern was designed by Toronto Corporate Visuals. This shiny silver bag was launched in 2003 and it is packed with bread on the store shelves to support the “fresher, more durable†marketing strategy. Canada Bread claims that the bread sales have exceeded expectations. It is rare to use metallized film bags to package a fresh bread. This packaging is an extension of the use of metallized films and a breakthrough in bread products.
