Large format digital printing machine

Dainippon Screens displayed two digital presses at IGAS'99; True press 544 and True press 742. Both digital presses use a silver salt polyester plate for automatic loading and unloading of plates. The True Press 544 was first introduced at IPEX'98 and is a B3 format, completing four-color printing at a time. True press 742 is a format B2. It can print 2 colors at a time. The maximum size of printed sheets can reach 740×535mm (29.3′′×21.06′′), the resolution can reach 1200dpi and 2400dpi, 8000 sheets can be completed per hour, and the printing speed is True. Twice the press 544.
The B2 format digital presses currently on the market generally have Omai Adast and Sm 74DI, while the Karat 74 produced by Karat is in the test run phase, but their prices are all around US$ 1 million. Truepress digital presses use conventional offset printing instead of waterless offset printing. Therefore, the price of the press used in the press is lower than that of the other three digital presses. Truepress's large format 4-color digital press costs roughly $750,000.
Dainippon Screen will launch Truepress B2 format 4-color digital presses this year in Drupa. In the near future, True press 6-color digital presses will also be available.
