Aerospace Science and Technology 4D Imaging Spectrometer Technology Breakthrough

Recently, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's 508 new four-dimensional spectral imaging technology team conducted a four-dimensional imaging spectrometer imaging experiment, successfully verified the ability of this technology in four-dimensional spectral imaging acquisition, adding another one to the snapshot hyperspectral video field. The new members have made up for the gaps in the domestic high-speed target dynamic capture product field.

Four-dimensional spectral imaging technology is a revolutionary new imaging technology. The 4D imaging spectrometer breaks through the traditional spectrometer imaging method to acquire image and spectral data in high-speed imaging. A system can simultaneously obtain spatial, spectral and time-resolved (transient) hyperspectral information, with special ability to capture fast events. Video recording function, while the imaging spectrometer can be smaller and more flexible.

The project team closely followed the international frontier development trend, expanded its thinking, and actively carried out theoretical research on four-dimensional spectral imaging technology. Based on a large number of preliminary investigations, the 4D imaging spectrometer desktop experimental device was designed and developed, and imaging experiments were carried out to verify the four dimensions. The feasibility of the theory of spectral imaging technology enables snapshot acquisition of data cube information, enabling rapid processing of real-time display and analysis.

This technology has important theoretical significance for improving the level of domestic digital remote sensing technology and satisfying the urgent demand for hyperspectral remote sensing image acquisition.
